FISHING REPORT
April-May
The temperatures are above average and so is the fishing around Hilton Head Island. Water temperatures are already in the lower 70′s and our migratory fish are coming in early. We have had a great sheepshead season with many fish being landed in the 8 to 10lb range. The Bulldog landed its first cobia (40lbs) of the season on April 17th and its first Hammerhead Shark (8 ft. 200lbs!) on April 20th. This is the earliest I have caught either one of these. The month of May is shaping up to be great for near shore and offshore fishing. We will begin taking 3hr Shark Trips beginning on May 1 from 5:30-8:30. These trips are great for adults and kids and everyone in between. We will run these through October 1. Hope to see you soon on the “BULLDOG”!
Tight Lines,
