FISHING REPORT

November-April

“Fall is finally upon us and the water temperatures are beginning to cool.  Even though the warmer water pelagic fish such as tarpon, king mackerel, and sharks head south, the opportunity to catch some good eating fish is still out there.  On the shorter 4-5 hour trips we are still catching big Red Drum in the 20-30lb range and as the water drops into the 60’s the Sheepshead will arrive.  These fish are excellent table fare and are great fun on light spinning tackle.  On the 6-10 hour trips the offshore bottom fishing will be great all winter.  Red Snapper, Grouper, Black Sea Bass, Triggerfish, and Amberjack will be the main target here.  It makes no difference if you are looking to fill the freezer or just go have some fun with the family, the ”BULLDOG” has a trip for you!
